💭️Concept💭️

︎︎︎ As a participatory experience, the project utilizes videos, photographs, and sound to immerse the audience through these anonymous and ephemeral environments.

︎︎︎ Through dynamic visual effects and interactive elements like NFC tags, the experience aims to capture the essence of the fractured and solitary nature of life in supermodernity, creating an audiovisual re-enactment that portrays the stillness of time and the juxtaposition of solitude and similarity within these often-overlooked spaces.

💡Inspiration💡

“In the world of supermodernity, people are always, and never, at home.”

︎︎︎
The project explores the concept of "non-places" in the context of supermodernity, where individuals exist in a perpetual state of being both at home and never at home.

︎︎︎ Coined by French anthropologist Marc Augé, non-places are transient spaces lacking the anthropological significance of traditional "places."

⚙️️ Technique⚙️️

⚙️️ Techni

︎︎︎ The project is fully designed based on the visual programming language TouchDesigner.

︎︎︎ For the physical films, I attempted to take specific sites pictures with the black and white polaroid films and create the transparency by taking off the skin.
