ℹ️Statementℹ️







︎︎︎ I chose TSA PDF 20 Notations as the one I would like to curate. Since the collections are related to text, I want to curate these works in a reading format for the audience to better experience the content. Then, inspired by the communication media of newspapers, I decided to make a newspaper exhibition to achieve the effect of appreciating the collection in the form of reading.

︎︎︎ For the curatorial scene, I chose the dining room table at home. The main reason is that reading newspapers always occurs when having breakfast/dinner/lunch at the table. Therefore, I would like to replicate the scene when sitting at the table.

︎︎︎ And the curatorial statement of the exhibition is placed inside a coffee cup and can be freely removed to view the contents. It makes the exhibition more interesting as the audience can draw the audience's attention to see what's in the cup. Once the audience have viewed the curatorial statement they can read the newspaper exhibition at their convenience.

︎︎︎ Inside the newspaper, I paste one piece on each page and the audience can enjoy the works by flipping the pages.





⚙️Technique⚙️️






︎︎︎ Besides, I have recorded the process in a short video with DV digital camera. Considering that newspapers as a traditional media, I tend to use low-quality pixels to simulate the past vibe.
