Feng Shui Garden is a virtual reality experience integrated with Feng Shui culture, where the viewer can immerse themselves in the positive energies that Feng Shui brings to a particular environment.
︎︎︎ The garden consists of four seasonal areas with different symbols from the Ba Gua, showing the characteristics of nature with specific objects related to Feng Shui culture. Especially, there are dynamic particle and audio effects inside the garden, increasing the vibrancy and immersion of the environment.
︎︎︎ Viewers can wear VR device to immerse themselves in the garden, learn about the introduction at the entrance, then explore the garden and interact with some feng shui objects to experience the positive energies that Feng Shui brings.
︎︎︎The purpose of the project is to let people experience the positive energies that Feng Shui brings in a particular environment, and thus help alleviate some of the misunderstandings and stereotypes towards Feng Shui as much as possible.

Misunderstandings︎︎︎ With the population of Feng Shui around the world, it has many translations in different languages. As the meaning of Chinese is difficult to express accurately in other languages, most foreign scholars lack a complete understanding of Chinese traditional culture, and thus their translations failed to interpret the concept of Feng Shui reasonably and precisely.

Stereotypes
︎︎︎ When modern people explore Feng Shui, some superstitious practices have flourished. The overly enthusiastic applications gradually lead many people today to have a prejudice against Feng Shui, regard it as a kind of feudal black art, and thus reject learning it.

The problems Feng Shui faces reminded me
that, as a Chinese culture lover, I would like to alleviate some of the misunderstandings
and stereotypes towards Feng Shui as much as possible by creating a brand-new
medium to immerse people into Feng Shui culture. To reach a sense of immersion,
I determined to create a virtual reality experience integrating with Feng Shui
culture, especially the concept of Qi and Ba Gua.
